==Ingredients==
whitefish
oil for frying
16 oz club soda
2 cups flour
1/4 cup corn starch
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 tbsp Basil
1/2 tbsp Rosemary
1/2 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp ground Sage
1 tsp Thyme leaves
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Celery salt
1 tsp Garlic powder
Directions
- Heat oil to 350
- mix all dry ingredients together
- while stirring add most of the club soda until you get a pretty thick mixture
- put pieces of fish in batter and use a spoon to coat completely
- fish the coated pieces out and drop into fryer (the dribbles of batter that get in there are yummy)
- cook for about 3 minutes
The breading was nice but very bland...needs a lot better seasonings
