Ingredients
2 16 oz cans green beans
2 cups chicken broth
4 oz bacon (raw) diced or ham (cooked)
1/2 an onion diced
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon chopped or minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon liquid smoke flavor
Directions
- Drain green beans, set aside
- Make the broth by mixing butter, sugar, pepper, and salt
- Over medium heat cook the bacon pieces, then add in the onion, and then the garlic
- Add in the broth, simmer for 20 min
- Stir in the green beans and bring to a boil again, and then turn off the heat so you don't overcook it.
