Banana Pudding

Mama never used a recipe for this dessert; however, I have made it so many times and it is soooo simple, one doesn't need recipe.
Ingredients:
Vanilla wafers -- good quality
Bananas
Vanilla Sauce
Directions:
Take a huge bowl, Crumble a 1/2" layer of wafers in bottom of bowl Spoon some sauce over the layer. You can use two packages of purchased sauce or use a basic recipe for making your own. (Milk, vanilla, egg mixture cooked on stove until slightly thickened.) Then add a layer of sliced bananas; then a layer of cookies followed by the sauce. Begin with a layer of cookies and end with a layer of cookies.
