Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients

3 lbs Potatoes
1/2 milk
1/2 cup sour cream
8 tbsp butter, softened
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Fill large pot 2/3 full with water and start heating it up
  2. Peel the and quarter the potatoes. Add them to the pot as you go so they don't turn brown
  3. Boil the potatoes until they are soft all the way through
  4. Drain the potatoes and return to pot
  5. Heat the milk until it's hot
  6. Stir the butter and sour cream, into the potatoes
  7. Then stir in half the milk. Use the rest to adjust the consistency of the potatoes, adding more for softer potatoes.
