Ingredients

1 lbs lean ground beef
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1.5 lbs small red potatoes
1 lbs package carrots skinned and sliced
2 yellow onions diced
1 red bell pepper cleaned and diced
1 green bell pepper cleaned and diced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 tbsp curry seasoning
1 egg, beaten
3 Tbsp Blue cheese, finely diced
1 Tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
2 tsp Thyme leaves
1/4 tsp red pepper 2 tbsp sour cream

Meat Patty Directions

  1. Mix together, in a small bowl, the curry, paprika, salt, thyme, red pepperm and black pepper.
  2. In a non-stick frying pan add in 3 tbsp butter and 1/4 cup chicken broth and caramelize the onion and bell peppers. When the mixture is almost done caramelizing add a tbsp balsamic vinegar to deglaze the pan.
  3. When cooked and cooled a bit puree the canalized onion mixture.
  4. Thoroughly mix the ground beef, onion mixture, spices, egg, sour cream, and blue cheese
  5. Form into thin patties and brown both sides

For the sauce

3 cups water
1 cup swiss cheese
1 Tbsp beef broth
2 Tbsp chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sage
1 cup flour
1 cup butter

  1. In a medium pot add 1 cup of beef broth, and 2 cups of chicken broth, black pepper, onion powder, salt, rosemary, sage. Heat to a simmer
  2. Stir in the shredded swiss

make a light roux from the flour and butter for a thickener 1:1 ratio


The Veggies

  1. cut the potatoes into pieces about the same size as the carrots
