Brioche Bread

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 1/2 tsp instant yeast
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs room temp
- 1 tsp salt
- 495g all purpose flour
Egg Wash
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp water
Directions
- In the bowl of the stand mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Allow mixture to sit for about 5 min until the yeast becomes active.
- Add the rest of the sugar, butter, and eggs. Mix using the whisk.
- Switch to the dough hook and add in the flour. After its all mixed together, kneed for another 3-4 minutes
- Put the dough in an oiled bowl and allow to rise until doubled
- Fold it and pound the air out of it and put it back in the bowl and let it rise for another 30-45 min
- Separate into rolls and place onto a baking sheet. Cover and let raise again for 30-35 min
- Brush with egg wash
- Bake at 325 for 30-25 min
