Broccoli Cheese Soup

Ingredients
- 1- 10 oz pkg of Chef's Cupboard (or other brand if preferred) Broccoli Cheese Soup Mix
- 7 cups Water
- 1 1/2 T Better Than Bouillon Paste
- 2-4 cups fresh broccoli, chopped
- 4 oz Cream Cheese
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 T Dijon Mustard
- 1 1/2 T Lemon Juice
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Bring 7 Cups of Water and the Bouillon Paste to a full boil.
- Add in the Broccoli and allow to return to a boil.
- Whisk in the Soup Mix and lower temperature to simmer.
- Add chopped Cream Cheese and stir until melted.
- Add in remaining ingredients and stir well.
- Allow to simmer until Broccoli reaches desired softness and serve hot.
Calories: Makes 6 servings containing approximately 420 calories each.
