Crab Salad

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of crab or imitation crab coarsely chopped
  • 50 grams shredded cheddar
  • 20 grams gouda
  • 1 T butter or margarine
  • 1.5 T Ranch dressing
  • 2.5 T Mayo
  • 6 sticks of celery chopped
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • ½ t celery salt
  • 1 t dried parsley
  • 2 t dried cilantro
  • 1/8 t black pepper

Directions

  1. Sauté the chopped vegetables in the butter until they are almost completely soft but still have a slight bit of firmness.
  2. Put all ingredients into a large microwavable dish and stir well.
  3. Microwave just until the cheese is melted and well distributed throughout.
  4. Serve warm or cold according to preference.

Notes

This is a recreation of the recipe as I made it a week ago but it didn't turn out as well this time so the proportions are off a little. I adjusted the cheese proportions and increased the mayo a bit from what I actually made but it still needs work. Perhaps the spices could be stronger but not too much.
