Keto Garlic Cream Sauce

This is a test recipe. Alterations will be necessary

Ingredients

1/2 large yellow onion, Finely Diced
5 large garlic cloves, Minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheese, Italian blend
2 or 3 scallions finely diced
1/8 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey (or Jim Beam)
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tbsp butter

Directions

  1. In a medium pot, melt the butter and cook the diced yellow onion for about 5 min, until soft.
  2. Add in the garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add in the heavy cream and booze. Heat until it starts to bubble.
  4. Stir in the cheeses. Let it heat back up to a light simmer, stirring until cheeses are melted.
  5. Mix in the spices and scallions.
  6. Adjust the thickness...if too think add in more heavy cream. If too thin, either cook more to reduce, or add in a thickener.

Packaging Directions

  1. Label snack sized ziplock bags with "GCS" and the date.
  2. Put 1/2 cup into snack sized ziplock bags.
