Spaetzle

This is a German-style egg noodle dish typically served with many things

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 8 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk (adjust to achieve desired consistency)

Directions

  1. Start a large pot of water boiling
  2. In the mixer, whisk together all the ingredients until you have a smooth, very thick, batter
  3. Use a Spaetzle-maker tool (or a large colander) to add the Spaetzle batter to the boiling water
  4. It should only take a few minutes to cook, so work in batches if necessary
