Keto Garlic Cream Sauce

This is a test recipe. Alterations will be necessary
Ingredients
1/2 large yellow onion, Finely Diced
5 large garlic cloves, Minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheese, Italian blend
2 or 3 scallions finely diced
1/8 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey (or Jim Beam)
4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes
1 tbsp butter
Directions
- In a medium pot, melt the butter and cook the diced yellow onion for about 5 min, until soft.
- Add in the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add in the heavy cream and booze. Heat until it starts to bubble.
- Stir in the cheeses. Let it heat back up to a light simmer, stirring until cheeses are melted.
- Mix in the spices and scallions.
- Adjust the thickness...if too think add in more heavy cream. If too thin, either cook more to reduce, or add in a thickener.
Packaging Directions
- Label snack sized ziplock bags with "GCS" and the date.
- Put 1/2 cup into snack sized ziplock bags.
